From Wesley to London: Bringing Old Collegians Together Overseas

Old Collegians living and working in the UK and Europe came together in London to reminisce, reconnect, and enjoy the company of their fellow Wesleyans.  

Generously hosted by Old Collegian, Kimberley Holden (fr 83), alumni from the early 80s through to recent graduates were welcomed to a refreshing evening cocktail party on a day of record-breaking temperatures.  

Master of Wesley College, Lisa Sutherland (fr 85), said it was amazing to catch up with many of our Old Cols living, working, and studying overseas.

“The evening was a fantastic reminder that, no matter where in the world our alumni may be, the Wesley community provides lasting connections and enduring friendships.

A highlight for me was seeing so many younger alumni thriving while living and working overseas and witnessing Old Cols reconnecting through their shared Wesley experience.”

The Master shared an update on life at Wesley in 2026, celebrating recent achievements and outlining completed and future building projects that will continue to enhance student amenities.

She also highlighted the College’s ongoing commitment to supporting students from regional and rural Australia through its scholarship program, ensuring that talented students can access the full Wesley experience, regardless of their financial circumstances.  

“Thank you to all who joined us on the other side of the world for a Wesley event. I really enjoyed catching up with each Old Col and hearing their stories since we last met.”
