Wellbeing at
Wesley

At Wesley College, we're committed to creating an environment where every student feels supported, included, and empowered.

Comprehensive Support

Our Pastoral Care Team, led by the Master, along with trained support staff and others, provides year-round support for academic and personal matters. All support staff are trained in areas such as First Aid, Mental Health First Aid, and emergency procedures.

Community Leaders

Community Leaders (CLs) are senior students who serve as a first point of contact for all collegians. They are concerned with the safety, security, and well-being of residents in their zones, acting as role models and enriching College traditions. CLs live in each of the five residential wings and are available for support and advice.

Professional Counselling

Wesley College offers dedicated, confidential counselling services through our accredited counsellor, Helen McCarthy, available five days a week. As part of our wider Pastoral Care Team, Helen is here to help you navigate whatever challenges student life may bring.

Safety & Security

Wesley College is committed to providing a safe and secure environment for all residents. The building features a 24/7 card access system for residents only, along with CCTV surveillance. Visitors are the responsibility of the student they are visiting and must remain in their company. A Community Leader (CL) is on duty 24/7 for after-hours lock-outs or security issues.
