Admissions

Thinking Wesley might be the college for you? Before you apply, let us tell you a bit about what to expect through our admissions process.

Becoming a wesleyan

What we look for in applicants

Tell us about you!

At Wesley, we aren't looking to tick off a list of must-haves; we know that every applicant's experiences and ambitions are unique. What we are keen to see through the admissions process is a genuine snapshot of who you are as a person, and what you would bring to our community.

That being said, the people who do well at Wesley have a few things in common:

  • They challenge themselves and try new things.
  • They want to get to know a diverse group of amazing young people.
  • They are engaged in community life and want to contribute.
  • They understand that balance at university is important - academic focus and having a great time don't need to be mutually exclusive!
  • They model respect, integrity, and inclusiveness.

ADMISSIONS PROCESS

Our admissions process focuses on discovering who you are as a person: what makes you tick, and what you would bring to our community.

Written Application

Along with all the standard information, we want to hear about your values, achievements and aspirations. What we don't want? AI rambling!

Video Submission

This is an opportunity to show us a bit more of your character. In your short video, you can talk about whatever is meaningful to you!

Interview

Shortlisted applicants will be invited to meet in person or over Zoom for an interview. Don't stress - you should enjoy the conversation.

References

We also want to hear from those who know you well. Your referees will submit a report to help us to understand if Wesley is the right fit for you.
