The Penny Pether Scholarship

The Penny Pether Scholarship is awarded each year to a young woman who attended a state school in regional or remote Australia who can demonstrate financial need.

The Scholarship is awarded by the Pether family in memory of Penny Pether, a first year student at Wesley College in 1976. Penny was an accomplished lawyer, teacher and writer, and was much loved by her Wesley family.

The Penny Pether Scholarship is awarded as part of the Centenary Scholarship initiative by the Wesley College Foundation, and is given as a half residential fees scholarship, provided as a discount off College fees.
