Assoc Professor Allan Bromley Scholarship

This Scholarship honours the memory of the Associate Professor Allan Bromley.

In 2016 Wesley College will offer the Associate Professor Allan Bromley Scholarship. Associate Professor Bromley was a resident in Wesley College (fr 1964) and was a member of the College Council until his death in 2002. Associate Professor Bromley made provision in his will for a bequest to the College. This Scholarship is offered as part of the Bromley Bequest.

The Scholarship will be awarded by Mrs Anne Bromley on the recommendation of the Master and Scholarships Committee to a student entering Wesley College for the first time who shows all-round potential in academic, sporting and cultural areas.

In order to honour the memory of Associate Professor Bromley; the recipient will also be the first member of their family to attend University and who but for the scholarship could not afford to attend Wesley College.

The Scholarship will be awarded before the commencement of the 2016 academic year.

The scholarship is to the value of $10,000, and will be taken as a discount against college residential fees.
